There was a recent post about a buffalo nickel that caused quite a stir; my response to it disappeared, as I imagine some of these will. I would be delighted with a find like that, in any event.

I seldom make comments about peoples finds simply because there are so many wonderful finds being made daily. But after seeing your half I must compliment you on a truly beautiful coin. If I would have found that I would think that I had died and gone to th'ers heaven.....Steve

Congratulations on your finds. Please ignore the rude responses by some of these people.

EXCELLENT finds!!!!! That bust half is the first dug one I've seen that clearly shows cleavage...:) Fantastic find and both are in great shape...CONGRATS!!!!!!!
I agree with the others....have the half graded and slabbed, for its in awesome shape and is well worth having graded. If you do grade it...let us know what they graded it out at.

Can we please see the other side of that Half please ? ;D

Great finds, very nice coins,
Eddy

Well, i looked up the value, and i'm sorry, but yours is only worth $500- $600. I couldn't find the $10,000 one, but i looked up the value in a 2 year old copy of a coin price giude. the price does fluctuate, but not that much.

Still very nice for digging a hole :D :D

That is a really outstanding coin, you should have it slabbed,
Eddy

DId you need a chisel? The ground here is like concrete!

Unreal how deep was that half? It has to be worth a lot.
