1834 Large Cent and some silver dimes

I left work early to get allergy meds one and rest my pounding head. I buy the meds and feel better on the way home...so whatta ya do?! That's right. Hunt.

I hit a house that I chose because it sits in the corner of an old estate that was pieced out. Got a nice hit at 12-47 at 3" and dug that sucker expecting a clad quarter and instead a starred beauty is staring at me. A very nice long shot and the 2nd LC I scored this season that way (different spots though). Just to round things off I found 3 silver dimes nearby in the same yard. A very satisfying day after not getting out this weekend...

thanks Evo and Dave. I almost fell over when I saw this coin in the hole. I was not expecting it at all even though I was there for circa 1836 items. At 3" I thought a mustard brown clad quarter was awaiting me!

Congrats on the 6 month old. I have a 18 month old and an almost 5 year old. Daddy time is important too remember ....
