Found my 14th gold coin last Thursday night. 1849 D $5. A friend and I had been researching from old traveller and stage routes in our state. In addition to this beauty, I also got an 1825 Bust half. My friend got a 177x Spanish one reale, and a 1911 s barber dime from this site. Relics from this site are also shown here. Lots of fun!

Tom, Another great hunt as the result of your amazing research! Gold coins are nice and all, but to find an 1825 Bust Half dollar in California is probably a rarer event! I have never heard of a Bust Half being found in California. I'm sure they have been found before, but I'll bet there have been more $5 gold coins than bust halve found.

Banner is a no-brainer here!
Cheers!:icon_thumleft:

That half eagle is beautiful. Ya gotta love that old gold.

Awesome find and congrats.

A man does the research and finds accordingly. Well, done!

Banner for sure, can't believe you found that many gold coins! Simply amazing!

Your the MAN

With all the hard work & some luck ,finding all those gold coins over the years plus I would assume 10s -100s of sliver coins & other jewelry peices and to mention the other AWESOME relics you/yall found just on that 1 post. I say just quit MD now & run for PRESIDENT OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY IN 2016:laughing7: . Maybe you can do something about the NAT DEBT AND STUPID LAWS AGAINST MD. Really leave something for the rest of us to find:icon_thumleft: .In for real talk ,I know of many people in my neck of the woods who in many cases have been hunting for 30yrs & 1 magazine publisher[ the mag does not start with & E OR & N] who has been hunting for ovre 40 yrs and yet that gold coin is still on his and my "bucket list".So what you have done in this hobby is truely amazing espacally ,the fact you found your coins 1 at a time wich in this relic hunters humble opinion makes for many 1-"once in a lifetime moments" You have put in the work and you have reaped the reward's ..So CONGRATZ & better luck in the future .If thats po-/ its possible. laters Davers

Congratulations on finding your 14th gold coin. :) Breezie
