Hello lisfisher I found a Large Cent last week It is my first coin find ever .Your prize is in better condition than mine .I have not been able to make out the date. But I think based on the image I have a Matron Head Large Cent .Thanks for showing me your version .I am still trying to determine if I will be able to find a date on the one I found or not . CONGRATS

That baby got lots of meat on the bone! Those braided hair LC's are thick and ring up high on the numbers. Congrats on that beauty.

Very nice. I think that's the last year they were made. I have an 1855 but it is nowhere near as nice as that one
