Scored a 1857 half dime. It was near a a fairly good sized tree about three inches down or so. I thought that was real shallow for a old coin like this. It rained a lot here the last couple of days. It made for easy digging. Lots of trash that I found too. I found a old button that I forgot to put in pic as it is soaking in lemon juice right now.
