Hi guys, well the good old ACE 250 struck again today.
I found this 1858 Flying Eagle Penny, also found a 1918 S Mercury Dime,
1911,1919,1924,1930,1942,1946,1952 wheat pennies, a 1892 Indian
head penny and a token worth 25 cents in trade.

Found all of this at a house that they are tearing down
for a parking lot. Needless to say I will be back their tomorrow!

By the way this is my second flying eagle penny that I've found, but
this is the best one. It is really a nice coin. Heck any flying eagle is a
nice coin.

Actually I usually lay down ,shove My fist in the air, kick towards the Heavens and shout at the top of My lungs!! I believe talking to myself would be much more refined!!
Congrats & HH

Well, I am jealous! I found one of those about six years ago at an old ferry site (now just a grassy, flood plain field) beside the New River. (Mine was nowhere near as nice!) :'( Excellent work and good luck!

Great find Ringfinder! I have just started using my Ace 250 and want to know what mode do you usually use? I have been searching in coin mode but I think I might want to switch to all metal and discriminate iron. Would this be a smart idea or should I stick with coin mode (mainly want to find the old coins).

Thanks and congrats again!

That's a beauty of an Eagle Cent!

WTG Ringfinder! Send some of that Buckeye luck down South. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Wow , those are some nice coins for ohio . Whwere are you at in Ohio ? I'm in nw ohio too . Bowling green area . Maybe we could hunt together sometime . :)

Thanks for reposting that excellent Eagle.I could hardly wait to see the reverse.
Better yet...just send it to me so I can see it really good. ;D

Thanks for the comment, I usually hunt in Jewelry Mode. Only time I hunt in coins is
when there is a lot of junk and I don't want to pick up every darn pull tab.
I also use a headset when I hunt. I listen for good beeps and at a good site dig
almost every good signal, weather it locks on to coins or not. I dig a lot of trash,
but you know what, if you look at my finds, I dig a lot of good stuff too.

Also turn the sensitivity down, I usually run with around 4 bars showing. Too much
sensitivity and the machine will give you a lot of false signals. I also use a SunRay
Probe. It is attached to the machine and is a great help locating those deep signals.

Hope this helps, HH, Ringfinder

congrats on your finds that flying eagle is a beaut

Thanks again for all your responses. If you haven't looked yet, I posted another
post called Update to Flying Eagle site. I found a Seymour / Blair Badge at this
site. Two guys came up with the answer of what it is. It could be worth more
than $200. But I usually don't sell anything, I just enjoy the hunt.

Again Thanks for all your posts. The Flying Eagle coin is a really special find.
I hope all of you find one. Best of Luck and HH, Ringfinder

P.S. The 1918 -S Mercury Dime was a good find also and it is in very good condition!

How is your probe connected to your machine? Can you show me a pic? Thanks.
