What did the nickel come up as on the at pro?

oakhunter27 ,

That is too cool to be able to hunt family land. I often think about being able to do that. Nice coins also. Those could have been one of your relatives.

The Flying Eagle and nickel should have the same reading...

FYI...interestingly, the FE was called a nickel at one time, by many, due to its metal compound...

Great finds! Nice oldies! Happy hunting there in the future!

Great finds........those coins are remarkable.

You've found 3 coins that haven't found me yet, and all on one hunt. I would be elated! Keep hunting there. I bet you get more!:icon_thumright:

Killer finds man!...DAMN!

As early as those coins are - you may well find some large cents on that site too . I'm interested to hear about your FE. avatar .

A nice amount of old coins you got there ( for only hunting a small part of the property) ..
I,d be back out there ASAP , Even at nite ( If possible)
Keep up the Good Luck.

What is the flying eagle. Don't have nor seen one of those.

They only made flying eagles from 1856-1858, but the 1856 is very rare.
