1861 Seated half, tongue Buckle and awesome Opium Pipe!

Mark and I hooked up with a couple buddies and hunted at one of their sites for the day.

Mark got a nice seated half and RJ got a couple really cool relics!!

Absolutely awesome finds! Did you happen to check out the mintage and value of the half?? Only 939K minted and in grade XF, which I'd say yours is at the very least for detail, it's a $1200 coin- I'm nominating it for the banner- Congrats!!

Great find with that seated. I've only seen about 5 or 6 this year. I found almost an identical buckle. Figured it about 1870-1880. Five or take.

Does it matter if it is light or dark??!! Great finds are great finds and the relics and coins don't care when we find them!! LOL

Plus this was a 40 minute hike so no one can see us and jump in the site. Gotta go--heading out on a night hunt!!
