The greatest value you may achieve on this document is to see the faces on the heirs when you give this document to them.
Here's some research I've done on the name, Ruth Howsley.
She was born in 1836 and is buried in the cemetery at Pleasant Grove, Wisconsin, along with other family members.
She became a Life Member of that Society by the payment (AT ONE TIME) of $10.00 (a huge sum at the time).
She lived in Shullsburg, Wisconsin (Lafayette Co.) at the time of her Society membership; a town (in 2010) having a population of just 1226 people.
Members of her family today are active in their genealogy and, no doubt, would greatly appreciate receiving this document. You can contact them by doing a little research on this site:
