Hello all,

I have a coin and im not sure what it is , i think its an old American dime, the face is the same as an old dime but i cant find one with the same back. The front has " united states of america 1881" and there is no writing on the back just wheat and III
Any help would be great

WOW!!, WOW!!, WOW!!
What a nickle... That thing looks to be in great shape. It also looks to have been struck off center which should make it even more valuable... If you would like to try to get a better pic of it, Try holding a magnifying glass in front of the lens of the camera while taking the shot. I use live preview for my camera, like a web cam, to see exactly what it looks like, then do a, "Print Screen" on the keyboard and go into an editor and paste the image...
Forgot to say. " Welcome to the forum " in all the excitement...
Good luck & Happy hunting~

It was given to my husband along with some old silver dollars from 1887, 1921 and 1923 and several other coins. We have no ideal what thay are worth but but i am enjoying the research.

Great coin!! The 1921 is the most common date but id check the other two. 1921 is owrth at least 8-10 bucks i think :)

It almost looks like it's at least Fine condition, but then with the reverse side struck off center like that, it's worth more especially in such nice condition.
That's a nice coin Malder!
