1890 Seated Dime Today!

Took a drive out to one of my California ghost towns. Spent about 2 hours there and hadn't found anything interesting so I drove to another place where I've done well in the past.
After 3 hours there and nothing interesting to show, and getting pretty late, I gave up and headed for home.
But on the way I was going by a spot where I found a merc dime and several wheat cents before and thought I'd give it a go and try and save the day.
I found a couple of wheats right away. Then I got a scratchy and deep signal and got to digging.
I could hardly believe I was looking at an 1890 dime! I didn't think this spot was that old.
It's pretty slick, but the date is easy to see in person (had a hard time getting it to show in the pics).
Wheats were:
1936
1937-D
1942-D
1955-D

Interesting key, I had no idea B&S and GM had anything to do with one another.

Congrats on the great finds !

I found a 1847 Seated Dime last year that's even more worn than yours.
I was just happy to be able to read the date at all - a Seated Dime in any condition is still a great find !
