1892 Indian Head, 1952 shell casing, 1967 Hot Wheels

Got permission for an Indiana farm, and after finding the Indian Head penny (my only old coin on the day), I was super excited to find my largest shell casing, a Remington Arms .50 cal (likely a Korean War souvenir, right?), and my coolest Hot Wheels yet, a 1967 green Deora. If you’ve never seen a Deora before, I highly recommend you Google it. The absolute coolest vehicle ever made.

The Deora came with two colored plastic surfboards attached to the bed. In good condition, the original "red line" Hot Wheels are worth some $$. Nice find!

I don’t know my guns very well but do you mean .30-06 like the deer-hunting rifle? Cuz my dad had one of those and this thing is like 5 times bigger than that. It’s enormous. Unless it’s like a Cracker Barrel replica like those old coins, ha. Thanks!

It's probably a .50 cal. then. The proportions of the .30-06 and .50 are exactly the same only the .50 is much larger. Gary

I've found a few .50 Cal Shells - I also had one when I was a kid -they use to sell them ( or still do ) in army - navy surplus stores.

I actually Black-Friday-bought some Andres pencils, so I'm going to practice on a few newer coins and then try to clean coins like this carefully once winter sets in. Gotta find ways to keep the hobby alive even while under 3 feet of snow!
