A find from over the weekend, anyone know how to tell if it is proof struck? New to the game here sorry for any dumb questions.

Great save, very nice condition, congrats on the save and welcome to tNet from upstate NY. Be careful how you try and clean it because you could easily ruin the appearance of it. IMHO I would leave it as it is right now, it's beautiful
 

Yours is a fresher drop than my green 1896 Indian. I used Andres Pencils to get the crud off of mine.0205192127.jpg
 

Clean it with a dry brush...no water! It should display real nice! :occasion14:
