Worst thing I've ever googled... Found my first ring yesterday. Big honkin' ladies ring with 8 little "diamonds". Wiped the dirt off and saw the 18kt!!!!! More dirt, and saw H.G.E...

Thought it was a hallmark. Nope. Lol... At least I've got the ring monkey off my back now! Next one is sure to be legit!
