1900 Barber Quarter

I went to one of the worked out parks here in Rochester ,Minn.
I never expected to find any silver.
The ground had Iron below the Quarter was around 8 inches deep

The barber quarter is always a great find. My first BQ was many years ago at an old " bootlegger's" house. The 75yr old daughter that owned the place followed me around all morning! I found my first barber coin, a quarter! The old woman took my BQ and said, "thank you" and put it in her pocket! I had to give her 50 cents to get it back.
