Went hunting again last night with Baldingboy. Returned to a place we have been carefully hunting to try and find the things the people before us had missed.

Found a few cool things. An ambulance from 1960. Another Copper Bell/ball button, my second from this site, a tootsie-type and some other stuff.

The coins are 1900, 1909, 1918, 1918 and 1920. This place is almost devoid of coinage so I know that whoever hunted it before us was very thorough in their search of the place.

Thanks for looking. As usual BB had to find an IH that blows mine away and a 45 Merc. But I was so happy one of us scored a silver from this place that I am giving him that one.

Oh yeah the little hook think he walked over and said "This is junk, I'm not digging it" So to repay him for the hinge piece from this same yard I found but didn't dig, I dug the "junk" signal up and was rewarded with a pretty cool little screw in type copper/brass hook.

The little thimble I think may be old. It has a number 7 on it which I thought was pretty cool.

Nice rescue with the old coins...they make me smile anytime I see them. The thimble always makes me wonder who was sewing and maybe watching a child play. Keep Swinging Master and happy hunting.

Awesome finds!

The 1909 is really ate up. This is the same pic in the original post but I highlighted the date a little.

Aside from a few nice coins...you kicked my HAT last night. I will post my stuff later and link it to your post.

I still really like that Indian of yours. The condition is great. I hope I find that third ball button you think is there. (He has a feeling there is one more). :tongue3:

I will never walk away from a signal while you are standing there. It never turns out good. :'( I wish I had dug that old hook...it's cool.

I'm not even going to give you trouble. You said there was a third button there, and you produced it last night! Unbelievable.

Can you please predict that I will find a Old Key Date Barber there that is in very nice condition?

You are starting to scare me a bit with your predictions...are you a warlock? :icon_scratch:

Nice finds I also found a 1909 on my last trip but its not even worth taking a pic of, that hing is hammered, but you have some a nicer one lol :headbang:
