Filled a hole in the collection. The snow had melted on the Front Range. I stopped by one of my favorite places. This was close to an old Foundation about 5 or 6 inches down. It only took 14 years to find a half. Almost have it back to the 1800's. Only the half was found yesterday. The dollar was found on top of the ground years ago and shows signs of being wind-blown. The half dime was a street tear out. The quarter was found on my rental property! A few weeks ago I found an 1890 dime and have given it to the owner to secure an unbelievable permission. 2016 is starting off pretty good. I've been out a half dozen times. Here are a few relics from the past few hunts.

Thanks for the posts! I have to work on another set to pass along to my other son. All I need is that darn half! Hopefully it will be a good one! Happy Hunting!

Nice find! That's a big chunk of silver
