I cringe every time I hear, and or feel my tool scrape metal. It's still a nice find though.

Ouch! I hate when that happens but no matter how good you pinpoint it we all scratch the coin once in a while. My last scratch was on a 1916 merc that had a nail nearby and threw off my pin pointing. Still love the coin though! Scratch gives it personality :)
