Howdy Folks. I scored an old 1916 Buffalo nickel today on some well pounded sod. I ran my Impact in 20 kHz VLX2 mode with my little sniper coil. I got a cute little Perfect Attendance pin. Found this white glass thingy with a brass rim? Perhaps a light was behind it in some type application?
I found what I believe is an old lead seal. Almost looks like some letters can be made out. Pulled half of a brass compact from the dirt. I snagged a very thin brass bear with his face shoved in. Kinda' cute still. I found what I thought was a horse tack rivet but, it looks different than my other ones so not sure if it was for another application. I found plenty of trash lead, aluminum and iron scraps too. It was one of my neighbor's properties which was an old limestone wreck that he buried in the ground a few years ago. One of the older sights in town which has produced some nice old 1800's coins. Like most sights I hunt in my hometown nearly only iffy signals remain. That's cool though. I know there are more nice coins hiding in this trash. Thanks for stopping by. Kurios1
