Did anybody else see this? Maybe I'm missing something here, but it appeared to be a mid-grade 1917P Variety 1 SLQ. The guy was asking $500 for it, but ended up getting $1000 for it after being told it was worth $1200-1700. I know these "reality" shows aren't exactly "real" but I was sitting here yelling at my TV. I dug this exact coin about three weeks ago and it's worth about $100 (non-dug). Heck, even at MS63 condition it's only worth about $400. Maybe I should take my whole collection out there and retire....
