1919 Merc.....1st Silver of '07

Ground is not completely frozen here in Southern NH yet...so I had to get a few hours in at a new property...and glad I did!

Scored my 1st silver of the year...1919 Merc. ...also found a buckle, .87 cents in clad, two religious items, and a 1927 dog license.

Great morning and psyched to still be able to dig in January!!

Hank...Congrats on some nice finds, love that old Merc. Glad you could get out....frost here is spotty and thick in spots...had to beat on the top of my digger with a rock to get down thru it in some spots...so the days we are able to get out may be dwindling..unless another warm front comes thru...snow in the forecast for the first of the week..possibly alot of it... Then the temps look more seasonal for mid week....lows in the single numbers, highs in the 20's...so get out there while you can!!! HH!!!
