wheat penny, and an old toy gun. Detected an old yard today that is pretty grown up and has been abandoned for quite some time. Only had about an hour and was only able to do a small area because of how grown up the area was so didn't find a lot, but some interesting pieces. A toy gun in really good condition, a hammer from another toy gun, and a 1920 s wheat penny. The interesting part was the gun and penny. I got a good signal that registered about 5 inches deep. Now coins are dead on accurate as far as depth, however junk often is much deeper than what it says. So after about 6 inches I was sure it was not a coin so was shocked when at about 8 inches I pulled out the wheat penny. I rechecked the hole and the signal was still there. One more scoop turned up the gun. Not sure of the age, I haven't researched it yet.

the gun says 'made in usa' so you know it's an antique :(

Sad but true. The modern version is probably being made in China.
