1922 Rogers Brothers Token

[minton7]

this is the size of a 50 cent piece..... found around a fairly old house that has yielded nothing very old yet....... 75th ann. of the Rogers brothers learning to plate metals..... the token has a date of 1922 on it..... pretty cool find I thought...better pix can be seen at ebay by searching rogers brothers 1922... I tried saving the pix form there.... but failed.... mine is dug.. the one there is pristine so you can see whatthe ground does to these things after 80 + years..

yep tokens are cool, chances are you are the only one that has found one like that or at least one of the few. The ones I seem to swim in are the chunking cheese ones, so those aren't too cool.

What type of metal is it?

it seems to be brass.... but I think it was plated.....
