My mom got this at a garage sale for 50 cents. it says on the bottom "1933 A century of progress, Chicago". She thinks its a pipeholder, but neither of us could find out really anything else about it. Sorry I only have the one photo, its all she sent me. Anyone know what its maybe worth, or if its even anything rare? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Jon

I did a google image search as well, they are made of everything, and come in all shapes and sizes. I couldn't find your exact one, but the concave shape is the same. I think it's def a pipe holder. But I would wait for some other member's opinions. I'm no expert. It'll be interesting to see what everyone else thinks!

being a long time pipe smoker seems to look like one to me--I'd put my pipe in it if I had it---Ivan
