Those are cool!

If you look at the "reeding" on the edge of the coin, it is patterened as _ _ _ ______, Morse code for V (for Victory!)

That nickel was very proud of defeating the Nazis.

Correction, I was off.

I revisited my 1945 and noticed it wasn't repetitive.

The morse code spells out "We Win When We Work Willingly".
 

The monarch was King George VI. Queen Elizabeth's father . He became King upon the abdication of his older brother Edward ( would have been King Edward VIII ).
 

found & sold an AU++ for a few bucks recently. nice save
