1946-48 GE Oscillating Pedestal Fan

[tank014]

Went up to the mountains over the weekend with my wife and newborn son because we saw there was a sale for newborn boys cloths and wanted to take a little trip. Anyways we picked up some cloths and left. On our way back down we saw another sale and decided to looked around a little. We picked up a super soaker and then the little guy started getting upset so we went to the car and started to back out to leave when I saw the fan. I can't believe I didn't notice it right away!! Anyway I got out of the car to look at it and the guy had a price of 10$ on the base. After talking to him about it for a bit he said he didn't know if it still worked so I offered him 5$ and he said sure. After buying it I found the eBay posting and the auction finally ended....WOW!. I didn't expect it to go for that kind of money. I'm going to rewire it and cross my fingers that it will work.
Good luck and happy hunting,
Frank
