Woke up early with the sun not yet cresting the horizon. Was a rather dark, dank, dreary day. What the halibut. I was off in a flash loaded for aquatic and land searching. Entering the first lake dressed in a black wet suit I was glad I was in fresh water rather then being mistaken for an orca. Scooped up a few coins as well as a plastic octopus. Not favorite thing to eat me bouy! As I ventured deeper my voice went up a few octaves; especially when the cold water hit my amble mid section. One has to live with "shrinkage" in these conditions! Two lakes later I exited with just a few more coins. Ditched the wet suit and Aqua guru in favour of Zen Guru and some dry clothes which I promptly soaked with bug spray.

Hit a few parks, dug a few holes and walked so much that I wore my legs down and had to bum around for the rest of the dig. Sort of reminded me of a joke I heard during the week; What do you call a cow with no legs? Ground beef. Felt like it.
Bugs to the right of me, bugs to the left of me. Again this reminded me of another joke I heard at work.
A guy walks by a pet store that has a sign saying that talking centipedes were on sale. Scratching his head the fellow enters the store going directly to the display of the talking bus who greeted him with a barrage of hellos and how are you doing. he was so impressed he brought one and took it home. Next day he goes to the centipede who he named Stretch and asks him if he wants to go for a walk through Point Pleasant Park (Mecca for diggers). No answer from Stretch. Fellow just shook his head figuring that he was just getting adjusted to his new abode. Next day he restated about the walk to Stretch who again just looked up at him and said nothing. At this point the guy was ready to take his pet back to the store as he did not speak. The fellow decided that he would try to get the centipede one more chance to redeem himself. "Stretch you ready for a walk in Point Pleasant Park?" Stretch looked up at him and with a grin on his face replied; "I heard you the first time. I'm still putting on my sneakers!"
Anyway my combo dig netted over $14 which I will add to my "Back to the UK Fund" should I get a new host. Happy hunting all and cheers!
