Well, today was the last of my vacation time ~ I used it all up! Now my new vacation hours starts all over again! I'm saving it for our trip to Charleston South Carolina in October of this year.
Here's what I dug today:

1946-S Silver Rosie Dime
1941-D Jefferson nickel
12 Wheats cents ~ 39-S, 39-S, 41-S, 44, 44-S, 44-S, 45-D, 45-S, 45-S,
47-S, 52-D, & 53-S
18 clad quarters
26 clad dimes
2 nickels
109 Memorial cents (not pictured)
1947 Spanish Una Peseta
1948 or '49 Japanese 5 Yen

Anyone know how to tell the date on this Japanese coin? I found a picture of it listed in my old world coin catalog. This type I dug today is either 1948 or 1949 (Japanese year 24 or 25?).

The '46-S Rosie dime looks like it almost ended up like those cut up coins Dan (Capt_SE) finds! Major damage!

Thanks for looking!
Neil

Not that I've never scratched a coin while digging for it ~ but this one was damaged well before I found it! Lawn mower or something! OUCH!! Oh well ~ silver is silver!

Looks like some keepers. :)

I'm not totally sure what that Spanish coin is made of ~ but I don't think it's silver. It kinda looks golden in color ~ but it's kinda light in weight (not "aluminum" light though).
