1949 New York Yankees Chase World Series Pin

Sadly the affixation to the obverse didn’t hold up too well in the ground over the past 70 years, but I believe it’s an authentic vintage pin and not the 1997 replica. Dug at an old house with two silver quarters (1949 & 1943) not far away in the same hole to help corroborate the date.

Your lucky to have any of the applied color so that you could actually ID. Pics of the quarters or it didn't happen... (I don't have a 1949 quarter even in all my collecting over 50 years)

Sure. With the quality of the finds here I didn't think anyone would care to see the two silver Washington quarters--in fact I debated even posting the pin, but since it was a World Series pin and the Yankees beat the Dodgers to take the series that year I figured why not. Any baseball pin collectors out there?
