When I popped that play nickel out from 7-8 inches deep and saw it's size and some of the detail I thought I had my first 3 cent silver! Major letdown to say the least but still a cool little coin with some age to it. I don't know about the age of the weathervane but I know it's pretty cool. Thanks for looking and HH.

Nice weathervane. Good find.

I like the weathervane too MD. I think I would try to use it.

Amazing what turns up.
The play coin would be enough some days, but the weather vane is a super find.

Love the weathervane . first one ive ever seen posted

Great find, and the weather vane is probably worth more than any 3 center you would have dug.

Nice digs. The weather vane would would be a "Banner" day for me.

What is the vane made out of think the old ones are made from lead , I found part of a lead one once, they are good finds an intact one is rare to get.

Love the amount of detail on the arrowhead! Nice find!!

The Weathervane is a neat find.

It's hard to tell what it's made out of but i don't think it's lead or iron. Maybe brass or copper judging by the reading on my AT pro.

The play coin is from the 50's.. and the weathervane is remarkable.

The Weather Deal is off the chart & will display well almost anywhere.imo
Davers
