1957 D Super clean. Looks almost brand new.

is does have a little wear... looks like it was polished or maybe run through a tumbler. good score. I've been saving all '59 and older nickles from my change since I was a kid

I agree with jewelerguy: looks polished and a little chewed around the rims. Great pocket find, though! HH!

I've heard multiple people say they keep pre-1960 nickels. Why? I can understand the war time nickels but are the other older Jefferson Nickels worth anything?

There are a couple of DDO and DDR's worth keeping an eye out for.
