1957 Rosie

Since work is never done (according to the wifey) I did a quick hunt at charcoal beach turned up this rosie and 1.50 in clad. It was quick because a big school of bunker started boiling 4 ft in front of me and stripers/bluefish were turning it into a bloodbath, so I grabbed my machine and booked to my car and grabbed my rod and started tossing tin..this blitz lasted for 45 minutes. Total for today..9 blue fish and 4 stripers with the largest at 36"..Stripers and a Rosie..who can beat that!..Striped bass for dinner tonight. .

Sounds like you have the best of both worlds at your stomping grounds, Dirt fishing and regular fishing. I like doing both myself, you had a great day.

I have to invest in a go pro camera. .if somebody has never seen a combined bluefish/striper blitz on school of bunker, especially if your a fisherman. ..it's mother nature at her finest and mass murder at its nastiest. .
