Hello!
My wife and I took a drive over to Florence on the Oregon coast. We had a great time window shopping at the antique shops and just enjoyed a relaxing day away from home. Before we went to dinner I spent a couple hours detecting at a public park in Florence while my wife read a book. I had never detected at this park before and I didn't know what to expect ~ had it been hunted out? Well, I can say that I'm sure it was hunted many times before, but I was lucky to get over the top of a few good deep targets! I dug plenty of clad, a 1941-S nickel, 5 wheat cents dating from 1944 to 1958, a 1957-D Roosevelt dime, and a 1957-D Franklin Half dollar!
I took a picture of the Franklin half with my cell phone camera just after I dug it. This dime and half are my silver coin finds #22 & #23 for the year.
THANKS for looking!
Neil
