What do the experts think about this ashtray? I bought it at a local garage sale, here in Westchester County, New York. I would like to know what you guys think it is worth as a cross-collectable, before I tell you what I paid for it. I am not a basketball fan, did not go to Notre Dame, and don't smoke anymore, so I just bought it on a whim..

I love selling ashtrays on eBay because at yard sales you can get them cheap! I start ashtrays at 4.99 and won't budge on the price for at least 3 auctions. My guess, if you can get two bidders going on this thing 30-40. Just my opinion.

TerryC, I think it would depend if anyone from that team went on to greater things. Well you will have 2 types bidding for it, basketball and ashtray collectors, but I highly doubt between the 2 groups there is a large number of people.

Dave, I have no clue to this market, but I know I would bid as high as 30 cents, and not a dime more. :tongue3:

LOL! Thank you Dave and.. You to Spart! :hello:
