1972 No FG Kennedy halves? with pictures

Sorry if posted in the wrong forum, but I have seen similar posts to this here with mixed results. Plus, I've been lurking here for a little while, so I wanted to take the chance to say "Hi" to you guys/gals, and thank you for all the info and entertainment so far. I look forward to contributing more in the future.

I think I have found some 72D no FG Kennedy halves, and from what I could tell they seem so, but figure to do some due diligence and see if if the forum agrees.

Hard to tell from your photos. But, if you can't
see the FG using an eye piece then it's definitely
a "No FGer". You be the judge.

Ya, what he ^ said. There should be no trace of any FG at all, cuz it was never there on this variety. Worn FG doesn't count. If they are genuine, congrats! They are quite scarce. I've been lookin for them all year, and haven't found one. Lots of '74d DDs and 82 no FGs, but no 72d yet.

Thanks for the info BB, and rileyboy. Seems I need to get myself a better loupe.. under the 30x I currently have, coins 1 and 3 only showed a slight mound and no lettering. Upon photographing them, to try to improve on the current scans. You can clearly see part of the G in coin 1, and the ghost of FG on coin 3... oh well.. Although coin 2 seems to hold up as it is just plain flat the whole way through.

Did not know there were 82 no FG's, and still looking for the 74 ddo
