1976 d bicentennial quarter business strike

Hello all! What would you wonderful people rate this coin at? Id say look at all the MS68s before you give your answer. And im also wondering why they arent grading them any higher than that?

These are the highest graded coins (MS68) for the Denver minted business strike

Impossible to tell for sure from a picture without being able to tip the coin under the light and look for luster breaks. There are a few marks on yours that would keep it from ms68, but how far below is just too hard to tell.

As mentioned, it's really too hard to give a grade from a photo, and what appears to be damage (bag marks and scratches) might not actually be on the coin. Here's what I see however.....obverse I see something that might be a slight scratch in the field in front of George's nose, something just right of his Adam's apple, and what looks like a hit on the 6 of 1976. On the reverse I see several things. One by the torch flame, one above the flame's stars, the Q in quarter, and one between the S and o. There may be others too, as I only looked at your photos for few minutes. Having it in hand with a loupe is much easier.

In addition to cudamark's observations there appears to be a hit on Washington's hair right behind the ear.
