1977 School Ring

I found this in a park today. I guess it is a high school ring. I found there is a Ford high school in
Laurens South Carolina.Just goes to show that no place is cleaned out....this park has been pounded over the years and its still giving up finds. Happy hunting and good luck to all!!

Re: 1977 School Ring

Sure would like to find my first one too. I lost it about 15 years ago! Furman High School, 1966, WJO inside, 12 K, with a large Purple Sapphire. I love to find it.

Re: 1977 School Ring

The company "Jostens" out of Houston, TX made 90% of school rings back then and they do keep records. They are all on microfiche but they will do a search for you (or at least they used to). Give them the year, school, details/markings and inscription on the inside and they will tell you who it belonged to. I had a horrible experience trying to give back a UCLA ring I found back in the 80's and I will never try it again. I do enjoy reading about some of the stories on here of people successfully return long lost school rings, but I learned my lesson.

Nice find!!
