From what I've read die cracks are more common in circulation coins but not in proof sets.

Any feedback to collector value appreciated, thanks.

That is PMD. Someone took a box cutter or knife to it. Worth face value.

DAMAGED!!!! That coin is worth face value now that some one damaged it. That is a shame.
 
I figured they were cuts at first but all the material is raised.

Not just scored but raised across the lines, felt by just running a fingertip across.

Need to get a damn loupe or electronic microscope for these.

I know deep scoring will throw material up and out of the cut but I see no sign of scoring.

Just the raised lines like someone added a bead across the surface.

That's interesting, but I think the inspectors would catch a die crack on proofs. Since each die is hand-polished for proofs, they crack should be detected I think.
