Need pictures, but if it looks chewed up it is probably just chewed up. I can't think of any error that would make it look like that.

Welcome pics for sure plus if you look close at most coins yo​ will find something that looks like an error but usually post mint damage. Get a coin book its very valuable in this hobby. Welcome Tommy

So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).
