I took the photo yesterday, just could not resist with the stark difference with that great blue sky and the old and new style bricks. I went on Batsto's website and evidently, they tower was recently restored, which you can see the newer bricks versus the ones from either late 1700's or in the 1800's.
The tower contains a large water tank over the "hog scalder," a cauldron in which carcasses were dipped to remove bristles.

Batsto is an historic village in Southern New Jersey that has a long history going back to making armament for the Rev War.
