i'm just starting to get back into crh...
called several banks in my area.. 1 bank had $20 and another $80... was going to go to them and had only 30 minutes till closing so i was in a big rush
while driving i saw a bank i didn't call and had gotten a few 40%s there before.. decided what the heck and changed lanes quickly and pulled in... At first, they say we have $7.. a guy says what about the bag... then the lady helping me says we can't do that. She asks if i want all $7 to which i reply i want $1000... she says really? then as they're switching them from one canvas bag to one they're going to let me have... one teller reaches in and says huh.. a silver... looks at me..... now i've had this happen before .. usually while they're counting .. they pick out the silver and give me the crap. i'm thinking oh no................ she then says .. well you never know. i walk out with the full $1k untouched. now i know i have at least 1 keeper in there and can't wait to get home.
1 1939 walking lib... my first.... i was excited but nowhere near as much as my 10yr old who helps me... he really wants it.. i might put it in his stocking

great haul for me...
Now on to my morning dump prior to all this...
prior day i am itching to get back into it.. go to my local bank and ask for halves and dimes.. they say they have none but suggest i go to the main branch.. i go to the main branch and get 1k in dimes. so yesterday i'm itching for halves and decide since i'm in a hurry to dump the dimes at my bank. She says, weren't you just in here asking about these? i say yep.. was for a poker game. she says oh really how much did the winners get... totally not prepared i say, ugh............. i don't know LOL... then she says.. so you're not searching for silver? i say nope.. poker. she says how often to you 'play poker'.. i say every 2 or 3 months.. she says ok... that shouldn't be a problem. So now i feel kind of angry for her calling me out... wasn't really her business as i haven't dumped there in over a year and bank there. i'm going back today with 1k in halves to dump on her... not sure what i'm going to say... do i come clean and say you're right, i'm searching for silver but didn't know what to say when you put me on the spot ... ?? if she gives me trouble again, i'm going to pull my account.. they can't order me boxes so if they won't take dumps... i don't need them
