1st coin of the year

It was 60 here in iowa , i found some soft ground at the old park today , just down the block from my house , my 1st good signal and out popped this 1903o barber quarter , about 4 inches down , also some clad

Very nice Most old parks have been re-worked with fill dirt and groomed so many times over the years it's hard to find the old stuff. I would be headed back to that park frequently.

If your getting coins like that at 4 inches from your local park. That park must not have been done or done very well. How long did you spend there ? I would go back for sure!!
