........sort of........
Work has curtailed my hunting time down, but I manage to detect whenever and where ever possible........customer parking areas, small public grassy areas next to job sites.......literally any where..........I've been able to maintain about a clad dollar a day average with a wheatie thrown in here and there.
Did manage to get an hour in before sunset today at a local school.......packed up and headed home. Just before pulling the van into the alley to our garage, I decided to stop and do a quickie 2 or 3 signal curb search at the church on the corner before the sun dropped over the roof tops and............3rd and final signal..........

713 Ring.webp 713 Ring Sterling.webp

Made my day!!!!

Thanks for lookin' in and good luck on all your hunts!!!

So what is it? Besides a ring? Inquiring minds want to know!

Very nice ring find, congratulations! :occasion14:

That's funny cause I do the same thing hit a spot here one there real quick over there got a feeling here pull over hit it 30 mins ect Good find is it marked!!!!

Congrats on the big ring. Now tell us all if it is sterling, marked, what kind of stone in the emblem, etc... (It looks like sterling with black onyx to me....) Sub 8-)

Apologies for the lack of information about the ring......(too much excitement)..........it's an ESPO men's sterling silver solitaire with black onyx and a diamond center........the diamond is missing. Near as I can figure it is circa 1950's and weight .22 ozs. (stone included).
P.S.: I'm going to replace the dirt in that plug tomorrow.........I'm goin' after the diamond!!!

OTWBTTC Confused minds want to know. :tongue3:

Nice solid looking ring.

Sweet ring Chizzy, It just goes to show you never know what's in the ground until you swing your coil over it.

Thanks, L-D..........it was a pleasant surprise from the usual costume jewelry and other "rings" I tend to find..............:laughing7:

On the way back to the car ! Otwbttc

I guess for me it would be: OTWBTTM
"on the way back to the motorcycle "
Or maybe: OTWBTTB
"on the way back to the bike"
Why not: OTWBTTH
"On the way back to the Harley"
Or maybe,,,, aw heck
Congrats on the Silver Ring

Firstly congrats on the ring.
I think going back to the plug and taking/ replacing the dirt Is a great idea, that diamond might have been pushed out of its setting by the ground being frozen. Best of luck hope you find it.
