Sorry if this layout is a little rough; haven't got the particulars down yet. These are my framable finds for 09. The center piece is 3 and one eighth inches. I found it barely sticking out of the just rained on mud with a fairly fresh boot print 6 inches away. Sorry about his luck
. I found a few thicker pieces that didn't make the photo. I also found a pair of pliers and cell phone! I wonder if the natives had 3g coverage
. I did manage to find my oldest coin to date. Laying right on top of the plowed ground was an 1832 Large Cent! Its in bad shape so I used sidewalk chalk to bring out the highlights for the photo. Thanks and I hope to make alot of posts in the new year!! Good luck everybody!
These were found around the Lexington, Ky. area.... Fayette, Jessamine, Scott, and Woodford counties.
