I have been CRFH (Coin Roll Forum Hunting) for a while now. I first visited the few small banks in my small town to no avail. 9/10 times they had 0 on hand and my bank won't order me halves. So, I decided to venture into a neighboring city today to see what I could find. My first 3 stops yielded 0 halves. Finally, I walked into PNC and asked for halves and the teller said, "We have $500 worth in the back". I then asked for $200 worth so I could get a look at them. As we were waiting she asked if I collect coins. I said yes and she said, "So does the guy who brought in all of those halves". Great, I successfully found someone else's dump bank. Oh well, I decided that I would go ahead and take them off of their hands. Sure enough when they got to the counter they were re-rolled brinks yellow/white rolls. As they got sat onto the counter the clerk said, "Oh, I almost forgot, I have this roll in my till that I rolled a few weeks ago from the halves I get". I then asked for that one as well and she gladly handed it over. Time to head to the car!!
I got out into the car and opened up her roll. As I looked over the edges, I gleamed with joy as I instantly saw 3 silvers! This is my first score of any kind! I took the rest of the halves home and checked them out. Sure enough, someone else's dump! I've got the fever bad now!!
