My buddy DetectorDave and I went yesterday to "The Broken House" ,which is another story. I found the Religous medal first and then was detecting under some bushes and hit the Franklin half! It was only an inch and a half down. Also found the "43 s" nickel and the "5 Fun Munny". The one hitter came from a local park I hit later in the day.

Wow, great coin. I love those Franklins and you don't see a whole lot of them dug these days, so big congrats to you and the sweet dig.

Smiles!

Diehard,
Awesome job! Love that Franklin, and that old knife. I'd put that knife in a small shadowbox. Very neat.
Congrats,

I see you mentioned the word "hit" a few times...now don't be hitting on that pipe! Very nice find with the Franklin! :)

Nice finds! (funny, one of my first finds was a walking liberty, found several since, but have NEVER found a franklin or kennedy) looks like you got some good spots!

NICE FINDS, ESPECIALLY FRANK & THE SACRED HEART MEDAL!!!
