1st time out with the X-terra 70 & did not get SKUNKED

Got out today for 2 hrs since i had checked a UPS Tracking number
and knew that i had tobe back to get the Bag i had ordered from
Texas Premium Detectors in Ft.Worth. So i decided to goto Freer, Tx.
and check out the roping arena, I was told that they had Dances there
over the years during the Rattlesnake Roundup which is held in April.

Only found 2 coins there both we Lincoln Memorial cents 1971-D & 1981-D,
i think i should have went to the old home site but i was determined to check
out this site since i was stressed for time, guess it was one of those Friday
the 13th on a Wednesday.

PS they were both around 6" deep

and showed up w/ a vdi of 32

only did about 1/4 of the length of the arena, there was 21 pulltabs and 2- S caps
recovered

Keep us posted on the X-Terra 70 I'm interested in knowing how it does. Detecting is kinda like fishing. It ain't about the catching it's about the fishing. There will be alot more finds waiting for that new machine.

That XT70 is a nice machine. Quarters hit at 42, Dimes at 36 and Nickels are kinda jumpy in the 30s. HH, Mike
