Hey friends,

So I went back out to the old field me and Rcranius have been hitting. The ground was very moist and I was hoping to hit some deep coin signals. After 2 and a half hours, this is all I have to show. Oh well. I thought the scale thing was neat. I did some research and found 1 that is in much better shape. If anyone can tell me what that hook piece is for I would appreciate it. Thanks!

also forgot to add this...

lOOKS LIKE POTTERY BUT NOT SURE.. any ideas?

Without a size reference, and a side view, the third photo looks like it might be the steel used with a flint, for striking sparks for a flint and steel fire, pre matches.

Your stoneware looking piece is part of a broken door knob
Cool scale.
