Today Kyle (Nooberz) and I started at 7am to beat the EXTREME heat. We hunted 2 blocks of curb strips and we both did pretty good. We finished at 11am, so this was a 4 hour hunt. Not a single homeowner came out and said a word to us, like normal. :laughing7:

I ended up with $4.86 in clad, 13 wheats, 3 indians 1889, 1896, 1906. 4 silver dimes, 2 rosies 1946 and 1952, and 2 mercs, 1919-S and 1938-S

A Navy button, and a token or pin that says Herbert Hoover 1932, on the back it says Medallic Art Co New York.

That takes me to 138 silver, 80 indians and 576 wheats for the season :hello2:

Once again curb strips paid off again, we had a blast and beat the heat! :tongue3:

your killing that curb man, when i hunt in public i always get questions like "have you found anything" some just talk for a minute and comment, but usually lots of stares and whispers and don't bother to ask, but i don't mind the questions much. but every singe time i door knock the owner always comes out and we talk and they give information about the place and things like that, maybe because i am younger than most detectorists and worries about ruining the grass and thinking i'm inexperienced :dontknow:
