At 11:00 am I said I'm going back up to my very 1st cellar hole.Just had a feeling there was still something there.
I worked the cellar hole lip diggin anything that sounded halfway decent.still a ton of nails in this lip as you can tell from my sink pic. a couple pieces of ornate shoe buckle ,a cast lead button,pair of scissors and any idea on the iron arm? looks like it was meant to swing almost like a sunglass arm .i worked my way into the cellar hole swinging from down inside along bank when i got a nice 84 on the VDI,dug down 10 inches and a matron head large cent popped out.you can see where i took the pic standing down inside the cellar hole where it was.
starting to get dark by this time.I wandered way to the left of the hole swung around a big pine tree and got another nice 85ish signal 6 inches.had to get under the root when i saw the 1810 classic head fall out from under the root.
85 coppers on the year now.
